On 13 January 2023, Malakoff Corporation Berhad (Malakoff), a member of MMC Group, held a friendly bowling tournament with Grid System Operator (GSO) and Single Buyer (SB) at the Sunway Megalanes Bowling, Sunway Pyramid as part of its continuous engagement and relationship building with its key stakeholders. A total of 50 representatives from GSO, SB and Malakoff participated in the event which was also an informal get-together among the working level members.
The friendly tournament was graced by Nor Hasbi Abdul Wahab, Chief Engineer of Grid Security Management GSO; Mohammed Azmil Ismail, Senior Vice President of Malakoff’s Local Generation Division and Saravanan Desigamanie, Head of Investor Relations & Corporate Communications of Malakoff.
Divided into the Individual and Group categories, the tournament consisted of two rounds where participants would strategise with their teammates to gauge their opponents’ strengths and weaknesses before heading into the second round. When the second round commenced, participants were seen showcasing their skills to ensure their teams collect the highest number of scores through great teamwork and camaraderie.
Conclusively, the Champion for the Individual category was Razlan from TNB GSO while Muhammad Naseer Alias and Sharfiz Shafie from Malakoff, Mohamad Noor Faizal from TNB GSO and Arif from SB were declared champions for the Group category.
This initiative is part of Malakoff’s continuous engagement with its key stakeholders through activities that can further cultivate the spirit of silaturrahim while simultaneously enhancing their working relationship toward fulfilling shared goals and objectives.
