Penang Port, a member of MMC Group hosted a Media Appreciation Night on 9 March 2023, at The Tamarra, Penang. The event was graced by Dato' Syed Mohamad bin Syed Murtaza, Chairman of Penang Port, and Dato' Sasedharan Vasudevan, CEO of Penang Port, along with members of the media.
The Media Appreciation Night was organised to thank the media for their support and celebrate the important role of the media in promoting our port and the maritime industry as a whole to a broader audience.
During the event, Dato' Syed Mohamad bin Syed Murtaza & Dato’ Sasedharan Vasudevan expressed their gratitude to the media for their unwavering support and dedication to reporting on Penang Port's role as a key catalyst in driving the growth of the Northern Economic Region in Malaysia. In addition, media practitioners also had the opportunity to participate in a lucky draw session consisting of the latest gadgets that are suitable for the use of media practitioners.
