On 16 February 2023, Gas Malaysia Berhad (Gas Malaysia), a member of MMC Group, was conferred with a Silver Award - Employer of Choice, under the category of Private Sector, at the 22nd Malaysia-International HR Awards organised by Malaysian Institute of Human Resource Management (MIHRM) at Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre, Selangor.
The event was graced with the presence of YB Tuan Mustapha Sakmud, the Deputy Minister of Human Resources and YB Senator Dato' Dr Nelson a/l Renganathan, Ahli Dewan Negara. Received the award on behalf of Gas Malaysia was Group Chief Executive Officer, Ahmad Hashimi Abdul Manap. This milestone achievement is a testament to Gas Malaysia’s continuous effort in providing a conducive working environment while investing in human capital and the well-being of its people.
The Malaysia-International HR Awards is a national event organised by MIHRM since 1999 with the objective of raising standards and recognising excellence in human resource management. The ceremony is supported and endorsed by the Human Resource (HR) community and has affiliations with international HR institutes.
