Johor Port Berhad (Johor Port), a member of MMC Group, organised its 2023 Sports Carnival – Semarak Pahlawan starting from 11 February until 11 March 2023 aimed at promoting sportsmanship and camaraderie among its employees.
More than 500 employees participated and competed in this sports carnival with a total of nine sporting events contested during the tournament namely bowling, badminton, football, netball, and indoor games including carom, darts, congkak and chess.
The highlight of the event ended with Mat Kilau team from Container Department winning the most points and emerging as the champion. The celebration ended with a prize giving ceremony which was graced by Md Derick Basir, Chief Executive Officer of Johor Port.
