Senai Airport City Hosts a Working Visit from Majlis Perbandaran Kulai, Majlis Perbandaran Kulim and

Malaysia Productivity Corporation

On 1 February 2023, Senai Airport City (SAC) hosted an inaugural working visit from Majlis Perbandaran Kulim, Kedah (MPKK) and Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC) lead by Majlis Perbandaran Kulai (MPKu) as part of MPKK and MPC official visit to MPKu for the discussion on the implementation of the Kulai Fast Lane (KFL) scheme and to explore strategic collaborations to promote productivity amongst industry players in Johor. MPKu had selected SAC which is one of two (2) industrial developments under the KFL scheme to showcase the success of the initiative to the delegates.

SAC’s Head of Sales and Marketing, Claudia Wong, welcomed Yang DiPertua of MPKu, Tuan Hj Natazha Bin Hariss, Yang DiPertua of MPKK, Tuan Dr Haji Nadzman bin Mustaffa and Deputy Director General of MPC, Dr Mazrina Mohamed Ibrahimsah, accompanied by their respective delegations for this study tour.

During the visit, the delegation was given an overview of the MMC Group Property’s industrial development on Senai Airport City development with testimonial of SAC’s key investors. The program continued with the presentation from Wiwynn Technology Services Malaysia Sdn Bhd, on their project development and KFL scheme experience in SAC followed by a site tour to SAC’s Custom Examination Area, Wiwynn’s Facility, Free Zone and Hi-Tech Manufacturing Area to understand the latest development progress up close.

The KFL scheme is a public-private partnership, to fast track the pre-development approval process to accommodate investors’ development and operational timeline which supports SAC’s value proposition of “Plug-and-Play” development model offering ready platform and infrastructure. The KFL scheme has been successfully implemented to SAC’s investors, namely Wiwynn Technology Service Malaysia Sdn. Bhd, Mercedes-Benz, Mybrush Industries Sdn Bhd and Mytech & Assembly Sdn Bhd. The continuous collaboration with key stakeholders are key marketing strategies of SAC as the preferred master-planned industrial development.
