Gas Malaysia - Health and Safety Day 2022

With an aim to inculcate a culture emphasizing on safety and health among its employees, on 24 November, Gas Malaysia Berhad (Gas Malaysia), a member of MMC Group, organised a Health and Safety Day at its Resource & Training Centre in Shah Alam. Themed “Nurturing Healthy Minds Towards Better Life”, several activities were organised for Gas Malaysia employees such as Zumba workout session, health awareness talk, blood donation drive and health screening test.

The event was officiated by Ahmad Hashimi Abdul Manap, Group Chief Executive Officer of Gas Malaysia G and attended by the management team as well as the employees.

Commenting on the event, Ahmad Hashimi said, “Employees are the most valuable asset of the company as they are the foundation of the company’s progressive growth. In recognising the value that employees bring to the workplace, it is important to embed a safe and healthy work environment where they can thrive.”

Gas Malaysia lays emphasis on inculcating a culture of health and safety among its employees and this event is a testament towards the company’s steadfast commitment in encouraging its employees to lead a healthy lifestyle and nurturing a safety culture.
