PTP Shares Knowledge with Students from University of Reading Malaysia

On 19 October 2022, Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a member of MMC Group, welcomed a group of students from University of Reading, Malaysia.

33 students and 6 academicians from Accounting, Finance, Business Management and Real Estate courses were given an in-depth presentation about PTP. The students then proceed on a Port Tour to Marine Control Centre, CPPO, Terminal, Engineering, Free Zone, and Port Facilities. This was followed by a round table discussion with insight questions and answers by PTP’s management team from Operations, Commercial and Finance.

As Malaysia’s largest container terminal with a strong reputation for consistently delivering highly advanced services and staying ahead with digitalisation, PTP was selected as one of the potential partnerships to expose the students with real world industry practices to complement their learning.

PTP is expected to receive other visits from either local or international education institutions aiming at knowledge sharing and paving the way for the provision of learning and employment opportunities in the ports and logistics industry.
