On 14 December 2022, Majlis Perbandaran Kulai (MPKu) hosted an appreciation session for the key industry developers, namely Senai Airport City (SAC) and Johor Corporation (JCorp), being the only two (2) selected industrial developments under the MPKu Kulai Fast Lane (KFL) initiative.
The session was graced with the presentation of a Certificate of Appreciation by Tuan Hj Natazha Bin Hariss, Yang DiPertua of MPKu to Gan Seng Keong, Chief Executive Officer of SAC and Tuan Hj Ibrahim Abd Samad, Executive Director of TPM Technopark Sdn Bhd.
The KFL initiative implemented by MPKu is a public-private partnership, to fast track the pre-development approval process to accommodate investors’ development and operational timeline. With the KFL initiative, it will provide SAC the competitive advantage to compete for multinational corporations (MNCs) investors with fast-track development timelines.
The continuous cooperation between SAC and MPKu is a "win-win" approach for the development that has attracted the MNCs and has been successfully implemented to 4 (four) of SAC’s investors, namely Mercedes-Benz, Wiwynn Technology Service Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., Mybrush Industries Sdn. Bhd. and Mytech & Assembly Sdn. Bhd.
