On 17 November 2022, Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a member of MMC Group successfully organised PTP Vendor Day 2022 at Wisma B, PTP. The event was officially launched by Marco Neelsen, Chief Executive Officer of PTP.
Held for the second time since 2019, the objective of this event was to boost supply chain collaboration, networking sessions, knowledge sharing and innovation in a mutually beneficial way amongst vendors, MMC Groups, PTP tenants and customers. Featuring 34 exhibitors from various industries such as Engineering and Construction, Information Technology, Consultation, Logistic, Marine, Spare Parts, and Healthcare products, PTP Vendor Day 2022 is a platform for vendors to demonstrate and share their latest technologies, products, and services.
The Highlight of the day was a forum discussing Port Industry Outlook featuring panelist Badrulhisyam Fauzi, Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of MMC Corporation Berhad and Marco Neelsen, Chief Executive Officer of PTP with Asyraf Suhaimi Sulaiman, Head of Group Strategy & Investments of MMC Corporation Berhad as the moderator. Other activities on that day include forums, knowledge sharing sessions and port tours.
Global companies are looking at the improvement of sustainability in supply chains with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategies. By coordinating initiatives and programs inculcating the elements, this event encouraged all suppliers and vendors to adopt and apply ESG in their business for better market growth and values.
