On 1 November 2022, MMC Corporation Berhad (MMC) and Northport (Malaysia) Bhd (Northport) participated in the Perdana Leadership Foundation CEO Forum 2022 (CEO Forum 2022). The programme, which was held at the Berjaya Times Square Convention Centre was organised with the objective to facilitate discussions by CEOs, business leaders and industry experts from the private and public sectors on common business and economic issues.
CEO Forum 2022 was organized by Perdana Leadership Foundation, an independent non-profit research and archive leadership institution. The 9th edition of the forum event brought together more than 30 CEOs, industry experts, and business leaders. The sessions covered various subjects, all specific to businesses in Malaysia.
The Group Managing Director of MMC Corporation, Tan Sri Che Khalib Mohamad Noh was featured as one of the panel speakers at a plenary session to discuss on the subject of “Malaysia’s Signposts and Hotspots: The Next Decade’s Trends and Growth Areas”. Meanwhile, the Chief Executive Officer of Northport, Dato’ Azman Shah Mohd Yusof also shared his thoughts as one of the panels in a session titled “In Transit: Strengthening Malaysia’s Resilience and Competitiveness as a Global Logistics Hub”.
The former Prime Minister of Malaysia, YABhg Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad delivered the closing keynote titled “What Does the Future Hold for Malaysia?”. CEO Forum 2022 hosted over nine plenary and concurrent sessions covering technology in business, talent and manpower, renewable energy, public finance, logistics, and inflation by business and thought leaders.
