Johor Port Berhad (Johor Port), a member of the MMC Group, recently distributed mineral water boxes to staffs who were affected by the water disruptions in Pasir Gudang.
The water disruptions occurred because of a burst pipeline along Jalan Lembah, Bandar Seri Alam, which cut off the clean water supply at certain residential areas in Pasir Gudang. The situation was worsened by landslides affecting the area which had subsequently hampered and delayed the process of repairing the pipeline. More than 200 Johor Port staffs were affected by this water disruption since Friday, 28 October 2022.
In order to alleviate their burden, Johor Port had distributed mineral water boxes from 1 November to 2 November 2022 at the Oasis Training Hall, Johor Port to all the affected staffs in order to assist them with their basic needs and daily affairs until the pipeline restoration is completed.
