From 9 to 11 December 2022, Senai Airport Terminal Services Sdn Bhd (Senai International Airport), has successfully marked its musical rhapsody this year through its third installation of Airport Music Weekend at Aeromall, Senai International Airport.
The local-based music festival brought people together and highlighted the art of musical performances to the public, with interesting line-ups such as classical music, pop, jazz, piano, strings, ukulele, drum vocals and bands as well as K-pop dance.
Whilst its core event focused on classical, traditional and modern performances, patrons enjoyed a fringe bazaar with over 30 vendors, the largest number of vendors gathered in the airport at any one time. Visitors were spoilt with over 100 choices of desserts, local delicacies, street coffee, apparel and preloved items, as well as several arts and crafts activities for all ages.
The representative from Kulai Municipal Council (MPKu), Puan Hajah Nurul Nadia Binti Ab Azis, who graced the launching ceremony said that the event is in line with MPKu’s aspiration in steering social and sustainable economic growth in Kulai, subsequently putting Senai on the map as a preferred destination for air travel, investment, lifestyle and careers.
Successfully attracted more than 40,000 visitors from diverse backgrounds, the Airport Music Weekend 2022 was also held to commemorate the opening of Senai Aero Walk, a face-lift project for an attractive photo spot to attract patrons from all walks of life.
