AB Aliran Hosts Visit From Petronas Group Health Safety and Environment

On 23 July 2024, AB Aliran Ventures Sdn Bhd (AB Aliran), a subsidiary of Aliran Ihsan Resources Berhad, hosted a visit from Petronas Group Health Safety and Environment (Petronas GHSE) at its Raw Water Supply Project for RAPID (PAMER), Kota Tinggi, Johor. The visit included the HSE teams from Petronas' top contractors aimed at highlighting AB Aliran's leadership and commitment to promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility. AB Aliran has been operating and maintaining the Petronas Refinery & Petrochemical Corporation Water (PRPC Water) of the Raw Water Supply Project for RAPID or better known as PAMER since April 2022.


The visit commenced with a warm welcome from Muhammad Nasri Abdul Malek, Director of AB Aliran, who emphasised the importance of partnership and collaboration in achieving HSE excellence. He highlighted AB Aliran's dedication to maintaining the highest standards of safety and environmental stewardship, underscoring the company's proactive approach in integrating HSE principles into every aspect of its operations.


During the visit, representatives from Petronas GHSE and various contractor companies were given an in-depth tour of raw water supply facilities. This tour highlighted the state-of-the-art safety equipment, rigorous training programmes and innovative practices designed to minimise environmental impact. Participants observed firsthand the measures AB Aliran implements to ensure a safe and sustainable working environment.


The visit included interactive sessions where participants discussed best practices, shared experiences and explored opportunities for further collaboration. These sessions were crucial in promoting knowledge exchange and building a collective resolve to enhance HSE standards across the industry.
