On 27 September 2024, Malakoff Corporation Berhad ("Malakoff") hosted a friendly bowling tournament with Grid System Operator ("GSO"), Single Buyer ("SB") and TNB Power Generation Sdn Bhd ("TNB Genco") at Sunway Megalanes Bowling, Sunway Pyramid. This event was organised as part of Malakoff's ongoing commitment to fostering relationships with key stakeholders.
The competition was divided into Individual and Group categories, spanning two rounds.
The winners of the tournament were then announced. For the individual male category, it was won by Mohd Yusof Ismail from GSO, while for the individual female category, Nur Suziyana Mohamed Hazarudin, also from GSO. For the Group category, Group 16, comprising Nur Qamarina Izhar, Shamsul Hariz Shamsul Bah, Mohd Yusof Ismail, and Mohd Nizam bin Muhamad Nor, emerged as the group champions.
Puan Norafinaz Khairudin, Malakoff's Assistant Vice President of the Local Generation Division, presented prizes to the top ten Individual winners and the top three Group winners, accompanied by Encik Md Yuha Ismail, Malakoff's Section Head of Corporate Affairs, Group Communications & Branding.
This initiative is part of Malakoff's continuous engagement with its key stakeholders through activities that can further cultivate the spirit of 'silaturrahim' while enhancing our working relationship towards fulfilling shared goals and objectives. It is in line with our commitment towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal ("UN SDG") No. 17 that encourages stronger partnerships that will contribute to environmental protection and sustainable development. It also aligns with Malakoff's overarching purpose of 'Enhancing Life, Enriching Communities'.
