On 5 September 2024, Kontena Nasional Berhad (Kontena Nasional), a member of the MMC group, donated two 20-foot used containers to Selayang Hospital, Selangor in order to improve the hospital's storage capacity. These containers will be used to store essential items such as disaster relief supplies and medical equipment. The initiative by Kontena Nasional aligns with the hospital's efforts to enhance emergency preparedness.


Attending the containers delivery event, Vera Ann Villenguez, Head of the Business Development and Solutions Division at Kontena Nasional and Muhammad Fuzi, Inspectorate at the Port Klang branch oversaw the successful delivery to the venue. The initiative reflects Kontena Nasional's continuous commitment to community welfare and healthcare support.

 

By providing these containers, Kontena Nasional aims to enhance the hospital's capacity to respond to crises and deliver care more effectively. This donation is part of Kontena Nasional's ongoing corporate social responsibility efforts to contribute to the well-being and resilience of the communities we serve.
