Yang Amat Berhormat Dato' Onn Hafiz Ghazi, Menteri Besar of Johor and Yang Berhormat Tuan Lee Ting Han's Working Visit to Senai Airport City ("SAC")

On 3 July 2024, Senai Airport City City Sdn Bhd ("SACSB") welcomed Yang Amat Berhormat Dato' Onn Hafiz Ghazi, Menteri Besar of Johor; Yang Berhormat Tuan Lee Ting Han, Chairman of the Johor State Investment, Trade, Consumer Affairs and Human Resources Committee; Tuan Hj Mohd Fahmi Salam, YDP of Kulai Municipal Council; Tuan Haji Natazha Hariss, Chief Executive Officer of Invest Johor and delegates to Senai Airport City ("SAC") and engagement with SAC's Foreign Direct Investor ("FDI") i.e. Wiwynn Technology Services Sdn Bhd ("Wiwynn").

The visit was hosted by Gan Seng Keong, Chief Executive Officer of SACSB and Dover Liu, General Manager of Wiwynn to give the delegates an overview of SAC's development and marketing updates followed by a tour of Wiwynn's automated production facility of integrated racking systems for the Artificial Industry ("AI").

The Chief Minister expressed his appreciation of Wiwynn's investment commitment in creating 650 job opportunities for Phase 1 of which 80% comprised of Malaysians. He also recognized SACSB's contribution towards attracting a total of RM7.5 billion investment value, creation of 28,000 job opportunities via 150 investors established in Senai Airport City, supporting the growth of Johor's economy.

The visit by Yang Amat Berhormat Dato' Onn Hafiz Ghazi is a testament of SAC's on-going commitment to stakeholder engagement and promoting stronger bilateral relations between SAC, Government agencies and investors, with SAC being the preferred investment destination for both FDIs and DDIs in Johor.
