MMC Group & Penang Port Sdn. Bhd. (PPSB) welcomed a group of media representatives for an exclusive familiarisation visit on 23 September 2024. The tour showcased PPSB's operations and facilities, highlighting its commitment to efficient and sustainable port services.
Dato' Sasedharan Vasudevan, the CEO of PPSB, personally greeted the media and provided a detailed overview of the company's operations. He emphasised PPSB's role as a vital regional trade and commerce gateway.
The media had the opportunity to explore some of PPSB's key facilities, including the North Butterworth Container Terminal (NBCT), Butterworth Deep Water Wharves (BDWW), and Prai Bulk Cargo Terminal (PBCT). They witnessed firsthand the advanced technology and infrastructure contributing to the port's efficiency.
The event concluded with a memorable Penang Bridge Sunset Cruise, a delightful experience shared by the media and PPSB's management.
