Johor Port Welcomes Academic Visit from Politeknik Nilai

On 19 September 2024, Johor Port Berhad (Johor Port), a member of MMC Group, hosted an academic visit from Politeknik Nilai, welcoming 2 lecturers and 22 students from the Politeknik's Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management (DLS) Program. The visit aimed to provide the students with firsthand exposure and practical insights on the operations of Johor Port Berhad and the logistics industry in general.

The students were given a comprehensive tour of Johor Port's facilities, followed by an interactive session led by Adnan Jainu, the Assessment Officer of the JP Skills Centre. During the session, Adnan Jainu shared valuable insights into the Port's Operational procedures, Supply Chain Management, and its role as a key logistics hub in the region. The students also had the opportunity to engage in discussions, gaining practical knowledge to complements their academic studies.

This initiative reflects Johor Port's commitment to supporting educational institutions by offering real-world exposure and fostering industry-academia collaboration to nurture future talent in the logistics and supply chain sector.
