Malakoff Strengthens Strategic Security Collaboration with Chief Government Security Officer

On 14 July 2025, Malakoff Corporation Berhad (Malakoff), a member of MMC Group, met with the Chief Government Security Officer (CGSO) to reinforce mutual collaboration and strengthen alignment on national security standards within Malakoff's operational premises.

The meeting was attended by Datuk Mas Rizal Mohd Hilmi, Chief Government Security Officer of CGSO; Mohd Kopli Yunus, Senior Vice President of Local Generation Division of Malakoff any other senior representatives from both parties.

The brief yet impactful session fostered a productive exchange of perspectives and reaffirmed both parties' commitment to open communication, shared responsibilities and strengthened support in the realm of corporate security.

In line with future engagement efforts, Datuk Mas Rizal and his team are scheduled to visit Malakoff's Tanjung Bin Power Plant at the end of July for a more comprehensive look into on-the-ground security and operational protocols.

As Malakoff marks its 50th anniversary this year, this engagement reinforces the organisation's commitment to national security compliance, operational excellence and cross-agency collaboration. Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 16 - Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions - this initiative reflects Malakoff's broader purpose of 'Enhancing Life, Enriching Communities' by promoting safe, resilient and responsible operations in partnership with government authorities.
