On 26 July 2025, Northport (Malaysia) Bhd (Northport), a member of MMC Group, hosted its inaugural Northport 7-A-Side Football Challenge 2025 at EV Arena Elmina, Shah Alam. The tournament brought together 15 teams, comprising Northport's customers from various business segments and a government agency, in a celebration of teamwork, sportsmanship and friendly competition.
FM Global Logistics emerged as the tournament's champion, followed by Kastam Selangor and Mycron Steel securing second and third place, respectively. The tournament also saw Helmiredza Rusman from FM Global Logistics and Normazril Harith Haiqel from Kastam Selangor emerged as joint top scorers with six goals each.
Fakhrul Azhar Tajudin, Chief Executive Officer of Northport presented the prizes to all winners.
