Senai Airport Terminal Services Sdn Bhd (Senai International Airport), a member of MMC Group, has recently extended its support to the local education community by donating 16 used airport seats to SK Datuk Usman Awang, Kota Tinggi. The contribution is part of the school’s ongoing “Projek Pembangunan PKG/Pusat Sumber”, aimed at enhancing the functionality and appeal of its library.
Though previously used, the seats remain in good condition and are now repurposed as unique reading nooks and discussion corners for students. According to Mohamad Azizi Zamri Illias, the school's Library & Media teacher and lead coordinator of the project, the contribution has given the school library a new identity. He shared that the students are now more excited to spend time in the library, which has transformed into a more vibrant and collaborative space conducive to learning.
This small contribution by Senai International Airport not only supports sustainability by giving new purpose to materials no longer in use but also enhances the overall library environment, making it more engaging and comfortable for young learners.
