Senai Airport Terminal Services hosted the Gotong-Royong Perdana 2025 on 25 September 2025, an initiative led by the Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Department under the leadership of Program Coordinator, Mohamad Nazri bin Ridzwan. The event marked another milestone in the airport's ongoing commitment to safety, sustainability, and community collaboration.

The program successfully brought together key stakeholders, including the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM), AirAsia, Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM), and Jabatan Kastam Diraja Malaysia, working hand-in-hand with Senai Airport Terminal Services Sdn. Bhd. (SATSSB) staff to create a cleaner, safer, and more sustainable airport environment.

The day began with an opening address by SATSSB's Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Kennedy Ayu, who underscored the importance of teamwork, collaboration, and shared responsibility in upholding world-class safety standards at the airport. His message highlighted that safety is not only a priority but also a collective duty of everyone who operates within the airport ecosystem.

One of the program's main highlights was the Aerodrome Safety Management System (SMS) awareness activity, conducted through apron safety walkabouts. The focus was on identifying and removing Foreign Object Debris (FOD), a crucial step in preventing potential hazards on the runway and ensuring smooth and efficient airport operations.

With strong participation and positive outcomes, this initiative reflects SATSSB's continuous efforts to uphold our role as Johor's international gateway and as a responsible, forward-thinking airport operator.
