On 20 October 2023, Gas Malaysia Berhad, a member of MMC Group, commemorated the accreditation of Anti-Bribery Management Systems (ABMS) MS ISO 37001:2016 which was awarded by SIRIM QAS International Sdn Bhd earlier in July this year. The certificate was handed over by Nur Fadhilah Muhammad, Vice President of SIRIM Berhad and Chief Executive Officer of SIRIM QAS International Sdn Bhd at Gas Malaysia's resource and training centre, Sekitar 26, Shah Alam.
The ceremony commenced with an opening remark by Ahmad Hashimi Abdul Manap, Group Chief Executive Officer of Gas Malaysia. This was followed by an insightful sharing session by Timbalan Pesuruhjaya (TPj) Dato' Hj Alias bin Salim, Director of Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Selangor, entitled "Kepentingan Menekankan Konsep Toleransi Sifar Terhadap Rasuah."
In addition to Gas Malaysia Berhad, this significant certification was also extended to, Gas Malaysia Distribution Sdn Bhd, Gas Malaysia Energy and Services Sdn Bhd, and Gas Malaysia Retail Services Sdn Bhd.
This acknowledgment reflects the commitment towards maintaining the highest standards of integrity and ethics across Gas Malaysia Group of Companies.
