Penang Port Promotes Unity and Health Through Blood Donation Drive 2.0

On 23 November 2023, Penang Port Sdn Bhd (Penang Port), a member of MMC Group, reaffirmed its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), by organising the Blood Donation Drive 2.0 for the year of 2023. The campaign was held at North Butterworth Container Terminal and reflects Penang Port's dedication to promoting the social and community well-being of others.

The objective of the Blood Donation Drive is to replenish the blood bank's supplies, which is an important contribution to supporting the region's health system. For this, Penang Port collaborated with Hospital Seberang Jaya Blood Bank and successfully gathered 89 donors from various departments within Penang Port as well as  external stakeholders.

Penang Port greatly appreciates the support given by donors and the Seberang Jaya Hospital Blood Bank for the success of this CSR initiative. As one of the economic catalysts in the North region, Penang Port will continue to contribute to  local socio-economic aspects and the well-being of  local communities through ongoing campaigns.
