MMC Engineering and PTP Celebrate 585,000 Man-Hours Without Lost Time Injury at Tanjung Adang Reclamation Project

On 31 October 2023, MMC Engineering Sdn Bhd (MMC Engineering) and Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP) celebrated a significant milestone-achieving 585,000 man-hours without Lost Time Injury for the Tanjung Adang Reclamation Project at PTP, Johor.

Simultaneously, MMC Engineering Southern Region proudly announced the successful completion and handover of the Tanjung Adang Reclamation Project to PTP. This achievement stands as a testament to the hard work, teamwork, and dedication of their talented young professionals. The official handover ceremony witnessed the presence of Richard Jan Weerstand, Head of Project Integration Division of PTP and Mohamad Asroll, Project Director of MMC Engineering. They symbolically cut the ribbon, marking the project's transition to its final phase.

Notably, the project achieved a remarkable safety record, boasting over 585,000 safety man-hours without a single Lost Time Incident (LTI) and zero environmental incidents, emphasising their commitment to safety and the shared goal of creating a secure work environment.

Tanjung Adang Reclamation Project is undertaken by MMC Engineering for PTP's expansion programme which is located within the District Park B of the Free Zone Phase 2 area of PTP at Tanjung Adang. This expansion involves the development of approximately 100 acres of existing land infrastructure along the eastern and northern boundaries.
