On 16 October 2023, Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a member of MMC Group, was named as The Best Administrator for Transshipment Terminal by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) during the Integrity, Governance, and Anti-Corruption Convention 2023 (KITA 2023).
Held at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC), the event was officiated by YAB Datuk Seri Panglima Haji Hajiji Noor, Chief Minister of Sabah. Also present were Tan Sri Azam Baki, Chief Commissioner of MACC and Datuk Seri Safar Untong, State Secretary of Sabah.
Organised for the first time to encourage companies and organisations to adopt the best governance practices recommended by MACC through its advisory services, the event also aimed at evaluating the effectiveness and impact of MACC's advisory services in helping companies and organisations improve their governance and prevent corruption.
