On 4 November 2023, Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a member of MMC Group, welcomed YB Liew Chin Tong, Deputy Minister of International Trade and Industry (MITI) as part of his familiarisation visit to PTP.
Also present were YB Andrew Chen Kah Eng, Johor Member of State Legislative Assembly for Stulang; See Chee Kong, MITI Senior Director for Services Sector Development; Marhani Md Jelani, MITI Director for State of Johor; Marco Neelsen, Chief Executive Officer of PTP; MITI members and PTP Management team.
The working visit began with an in-depth presentation on PTP's business and operational performance, current and future development as well as PTP's contribution towards Malaysia and Johor's port industry and logistics sustainability.
The delegates then proceeded for a comprehensive port tour to the Central Planning & Performance Office (CPPO) for a briefing on PTP's latest state-of-the-art Asset Digitalisation Programme.
This visit was part of PTP's stakeholder engagement programme that aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between PTP and the Government agencies.
