On 11 October 2023, Penang Port Sdn Bhd (Penang Port), a member of MMC Group, provided an unforgettable ferry ride from Pangkalan Sultan Abdul Halim, Butterworth to Pangkalan Raja Tun Uda, George Town for SMK Bukit Gambir, Tangkak, Johor. This included 41 individuals, both teachers as well as special needs students had the privilege to experience the new Penang ferry services as part of their school visit to Penang. This not only allowed the students in exploring the new ferry operations up close but also showcased Penang Port's devotion for inclusivity.
Moreover, on 10 October 2023, Penang Port also collaborated with WhyteHouse Education Group to provide an engaging and educational experience for the teachers and 100 kindergarteners for an exciting adventure on the Teluk Duyung ferry. This fun trip highlights a joyous excursion filled with interactive, sightseeing activities as well as gaining the experience of uncovering the waters of Penang.
