Penang Port Leads the way in Workplace Excellence with Tekad Certification From AADK Penang

On 21 November 2023, Penang Port Sdn Bhd (Penang Port), a member of MMC Group, was conferred with the Sijil Pengiktirafan Tempat Kerja Bebas Dadah (TEKAD) award by the Agensi Antidadah Kebangsaan (AADK) Penang. This recognition marks a significant milestone as Penang Port becomes the first private company to successfully fulfill the five key criteria stipulated in the TEKAD programme.

The certificate was presented by Elmariah Chung, Director of AADK Penang to Mohamed Shaffi Khatri Abdulla, Head of Corporate Services Division of Penang Port.

Simultaneously, an AADK officer conducted an informative session for Penang Port employees, aiming to deepen their understanding of the risks associated with drug misuse.

This certification serves as tangible evidence of Penang Port's unwavering commitment to excellence and strict adherence to the highest industry standards. The pursuit of continuous improvement is reflected in Penang Port's dedication to cultivating a secure and responsible workplace.
