Malakoff Receives Courtesy Visit by Yayasan Tuanku Canselor University College of Yayasan Pahang

On 10 October 2023, Malakoff Corporation Berhad (Malakoff), a member of MMC Group, received a courtesy visit by Yayasan Tuanku Canselor University College of Yayasan Pahang (UCYP).

The courtesy call, which was part of the donor appreciation visit, was attended by representatives from Yayasan Tuanku Canselor UCYP - YB Dato' Ahmad Saruji Abdul Aziz, Board of Trustees member; Mohd Nor Firdaus Mohd Nordi, Operations Manager; Ruhaiza Esahar, Secretary and Ahmad Faiz Mustapha Operations Executive - and from Malakoff - Suriati Mokhtar, Head of Group Communications & Branding and Md Yuha Ismail, Senior Manager.

Malakoff has contributed RM10,000 to Yayasan Tuanku Canselor UCYP, which aims to support students who fall under the B40 category with their daily needs and living expenses at UCYP, ultimately providing them with better educational opportunities.

Malakoff truly believes that this contribution can play a pivotal role in elevating educational opportunities for financially disadvantaged students, with a specific focus on empowering the B40 groups to attain a higher standard of education.

This donation is part of Malakoff's Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, which reflects on Malakoff's commitment to enhancing life, enriching communities and its efforts to achieve the goals of making a positive impact for the community and their future. This is also in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goal No. 8 which promotes inclusive and sustainable economic growth, employment and decent work for all.
