Johor Port Commemorates 100 Days of Operational Success in Partnership With Petronas Chemicals Marketing (Labuan) LTD (PCML)

On 20 October 2023, Johor Port Berhad (Johor Port), a member of MMC Group, marked a significant milestone in its partnership with PETRONAS Chemicals Marketing (Labuan) Ltd (PCML) by commemorating 100 days of operational success.

Since the commencement of the first leg connectivity from Pengerang to Pasir Gudang, operated by Navegacion Shipping (Johor) Sdn Bhd, Johor Port has handled an outstanding throughput volume of over 10,000 TEUs to date.

Throughout these 100 days, PCML has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to delivering export shipments via the Malaysia Southern Gateway, underscoring the trust placed in Johor Port. The port's team has consistently met and exceeded expectations in terms of safety, efficiency and environmental responsibility.

This celebration reflects the successful handling of PCML shipments and the exceptional operational accomplishments of the dedicated Johor Port team, stakeholders and customers who played a pivotal role in this remarkable journey.
