On 23 October 2024, Alam Flora Sdn Bhd (Alam Flora), a subsidiary of Malakoff, was once again invited by Sekolah Kebangsaan Desa Pandan, Kuala Lumpur to participate in the school's annual Green Technology and Environment Day event. For the event, Alam Flora set up an engaging exhibition booth featuring games made entirely from recycled materials, aimed at teaching sustainable practices through fun and creativity. Alam Flora also conducted 3Rs - Reduce, Reuse and Recycle sharing sessions with the students, showcasing examples of upcycled items such as reusable bags made from repurposed clothing. The event aimed to raise awareness and educate students about the importance of environmental protection, particularly through recycling, upcycling, and sustainable practices in daily life. During the environmental sustainability competition, Alam Flora played a key role in judging the innovative and creative projects submitted by students.

Other than Alam Flora, government agencies such as the Ministry of Education, Solid Waste and Public Cleansing Management Corporation (SWCorp), Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL), and Department of Health and Environment (JKAS) were also involved with the Green Technology and Environment Day event.

This initiative is part of Malakoff's commitment towards the UN Sustainable Development Goal (UN SDG) No. 12 - Responsible Consumption and Production, which aims to ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns. Consecutively, it is also aligned with Malakoff's overarching purpose of 'Enhancing Life, Enriching Communities'.
