On 20 and 21 November 2024, Malakoff Corporation Berhad (Malakoff), a member of MMC Group, participated in the Clean Cities & Urban Development Forum 2024 that was held in Kuala Lumpur. This event brought together prominent industry leaders, including policymakers and innovators to explore the challenges and opportunities of urban development within the framework of sustainability.
At the forefront of this dialogue was Anwar Syahrin Abdul Ajib, Malakoff's Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Officer, who served as one of the panel speakers. He delivered a compelling talk on 'The Role of Waste-to-Energy in Urban and Rural Sustainability', highlighting the transformative potential of innovative energy solutions in addressing global waste management challenges. During the session, Anwar Syahrin also engaged with participants by answering pressing questions from the floor, sharing valuable insights into Malakoff's expertise in harnessing Waste-to-Energy (WTE) technology as a cornerstone of sustainable development.
