On 30 October 2024, Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a member of MMC Group, hosted a visit by Jacques Werner, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Malaysia, and Port Trade Mission delegation on their inaugural familiarisation visit.
The special delegation was warmly welcomed by Mark Hardiman, Chief Executive Officer of PTP, and Brian Pedersen, Deputy Chief Financial Officer of PTP, along with other senior management members.
During the visit, the Ambassador and his delegation were given a comprehensive tour of PTP's state-of-the-art facilities, valuable insights into the port's cutting-edge operations, digitalisation initiatives, and commitment to sustainability.
Through engaging discussions and meaningful knowledge sharing, PTP together with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Malaysia and the delegation explored promising avenues for collaboration aimed at enhancing global trade and logistics. By leveraging each other's strengths, the goal is to optimise supply chains, reduce costs and drive sustainable growth.
