Senai Airport City Honoured With Recognition at The Two Years Madani Government Programme And National Convention

On 24 November 2024, Senai Airport City Sdn Bhd (Senai Airport City), a member of MMC Group, was accorded the recognition under the Special Project Appreciation during the two years Madani Government programme (2TM) and National Convention on Civil Services Reform.

This event was organised by Performance Acceleration Coo rdination Unit (PACU), in collaboration with the Malaysian Productivity Corporation (MPC) and the Madani Monitoring Unit. The event was officiated by Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia. It was organised to highlight the key achievements and contributions in the development of the country's civil services in the past two years.

The Special Project Appreciation Award was presented by Tan Sri Shamsul Azri Abu Bakar, National Chief Secretary, accompanied by Zahid Ismail, MPC General Directors; to Tuan Haji Mohd Fahmi Salam, The President Kulai Municipal Council (MPKU); and Gan Seng Keong, Chief Executive Officer of Senai Airport City.

Senai Airport City's proactive role in the Kulai Fast Lane initiatives, in collaboration with the Kulai Municipal Council, has impactfully contributed to the transformative development in the Iskandar region. This public-private partnership highlights Senai Airport City's commitment to fostering progress and innovation, driving growth in both infrastructure development and economic activity. Through these efforts, Kulai-Senai is poised for improved connectivity, increased investment opportunities, and enhanced economic resilience.

Additionally, Senai Airport City's recognition at the ceremony is a testament to its ongoing dedication to elevating Malaysia's position in both regional and global economic arenas. This accolade not only underscores Senai Airport City's leadership in driving local development but also showcases its strategic importance in shaping Malaysia's future economic landscape.

For the past several years, Senai Airport City has successfully implemented the Kulai Fast Lane initiatives with success of reducing the duration of development approval process from 24 to 13 months, transforming it into a key driver for attracting both Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and Domestic Direct Investment (DDI). This initiative has positioned Senai Airport City as a preferred investment destination, particularly by facilitating ease of business activities in the Kulai district.
