On 25 October 2024, Malakoff Corporation Berhad (Malakoff), a member of MMC Group, hosted its annual friendly football match with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) at Padang Bola Sintetik A, Presint 4, Putrajaya. The annual friendly match is aimed at further strengthening the company's relationship with the key stakeholders.
The match kicked off with both teams displaying impressive football skills and a fierce competitive spirit in a bid to score the opening goal. ST took the lead through two goals from Muhamad Akmal and another from Mohd Fairul Jaafar, with Hakem Shahri also on the scoresheet. However Malakoff's relentless efforts unleashed their attacking prowess, with Ahmad Zahid scoring twice and Ahmad Syafie and Syafiq Danial netting once each to seal Malakoff's victory.
The final score of 4-3 reflected the intensity and excitement of the match. Malakoff's victory was a testament to their hard work, dedication, and tactical acumen. The friendly match was an excellent opportunity for both teams to showcase their talents, foster camaraderie and build team spirit.
Senior officials from both organisations, including Ir. Roslee Esman, Director of Industry Planning and Development and Rumaizi Abdul Halim, Deputy Director of Economic Control and Supervision and President of Kelab Kristal ST, were present to witness the action.
