On 30 November 2024, Northport (Malaysia) Bhd (Northport), a member of MMC Group, hosted the 12th edition of the Northport Futsal Challenge 2024 for its key customers and stakeholders. The annual stakeholder relations event was held in Shah Alam and was officiated by G. Ulaganathan, Northport's Chief Operating Officer.
A total of 24 teams comprising Northport customers and Government agencies participated in the tournament. The event witnessed FM Global Logistics crowned as the champion, with PCD Logistics securing second place. The third place was claimed by Kastam Selangor, while Muhammad Helmireza from PCD Logistics was recognised as the Top Scorer of the tournament. Fakhrul Azhar Tajudin, Northport's Chief Executive Officer, presented the prizes to the winners.
The Northport Futsal Challenge 2024 provided a platform for Northport to strengthen professional relationships with its customers and stakeholders through friendly competition. The event also highlighted the Company's commitment to stakeholder engagement while promoting health and wellness among the participating teams.
