Johor Port Berhad (Johor Port), a member of MMC Group, recently participated in the Pasir Gudang Tourism Master & Action Plan 2035 (PG-TMAP 2035) Workshop, held in Melaka. Organised by Majlis Bandaraya Pasir Gudang (MBPG), the workshop aimed to outline a comprehensive roadmap to elevate Pasir Gudang as a leading tourism destination by 2035. The event gathered key stakeholders, including City Council members, Heads of various Departments of MBPG, Johor Port Authority, Tourism Johor, the Johor Agriculture Department and various private sector representatives. The facilitators of the workshop were lecturers from Politeknik Ibrahim Sultan, Pasir Gudang. YBhg. Dato' Haji Mustaffa Kamal Haji Shamsudin, the Mayor of MBPG, also attended the event and officiated the ceremony.
The PG-TMAP 2035 is structured around 5 Core Pillars-Environment, Community, Cultural, Heritage and Knowledge. These Pillars represent the core areas of development targeted to ensure sustainable tourism growth, foster cultural and community engagement, preserve the region's rich heritage and enhance the overall knowledge-sharing environment within Pasir Gudang's tourism ecosystem.
