PTP Joins Forces with Farm Fresh Milk and Department of Environment for a Greener Future

On 2 November 2024, Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a member of MMC Group joined hands with Farm Fresh Milk Sdn Bhd (Farm Fresh) in sponsoring the Eco Trail Fun Walk, an activity that is part of the Johor State Level National Environment Day Celebration 2024. This vibrant event, organised by the Department of Environment (DOE) Johor, took place at Sireh Park, Iskandar Puteri.

The day kicked off with an inspiring inauguration by Ling Tian Soon, Johor State Chairman of the Health and Environment Committee, accompanied by Dr. Mohd Famey bin Yusoff, Johor Director of Environment, and Haji Ahmad Nazir bin Haji Mohd Nasir, District Officer of Johor Bahru. Representing PTP were Khairul Amalin Abd Rahman, the Head of Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSES) Division, Nasution Saad Putra, General Manager of the Government Liaison & Freezone Authority Department, Sharishen Redzuan Perpinder, General Manager of the Health, Safety and Environment Department, and Umar Faruq Jamaluddin, General Manager of the Special Project Department. Their presence underscored the importance of environmental responsibility within the organisation.

By joining this fun-filled event, PTP reaffirmed the company's commitment to environmental sustainability and raising awareness about pressing environmental issues within the local community. All of this through participation in various eco-friendly activities. Among the activities conducted were children's colouring contest, tree planting program and the release of native fish species into local waters to enhance biodiversity. Embracing this opportunity, PTP reasserted company's stance on promoting a greener future.
