Malakoff Corporation Berhad (Malakoff), a member of MMC Group, recently participated in Electric Power Tech Korea 2025, held from 14 to 16 May 2025 at COEX, Seoul, South Korea, one of Asia’s leading exhibitions for cutting-edge power generation technologies.
The delegation was led by Dr. Mohamad Lutfi Samsudin, Malakoff’s Head of Engineering (Local Generation Division), who, together with his team, showcased Malakoff’s latest advancements in clean energy and environmental solutions. The exhibition provided a strategic platform to reinforce Malakoff’s presence in the regional power sector, particularly in line with Malakoff’s ongoing sustainability-driven transformation.
As part of the programme, Malakoff set up a booth and engaged in business-to-business sessions with various South Korean companies to explore potential partnerships in energy innovation, engineering services and decarbonisation technologies. The team also participated in a technical site visit, gaining valuable insights into South Korea’s advanced energy infrastructure, further supporting Malakoff’s commitment to operational excellence and future-ready solutions.
This initiative supports the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (UNSDG) No. 7: Affordable and Clean Energy, which aims to ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all.
