On 18 April 2025, Northport (Malaysia) Bhd ("Northport"), a member of MMC Group, organised its annual Hari Raya Open House transforming the port premises into a vibrant celebration of Malaysian heritage under the theme "Timeless Nusantara.
The festive event featured 14 specially designed food stalls representing all states in Malaysia. Each stall, creatively decorated and managed by Northport employees, offered authentic regional delicacies, with a total of 30 traditional menu items served throughout the event.
The event also featured a special automotive exhibition by EON Berhad("EON"), which showcased four brands under its portfolio, including Proton, Proton e.MAS 7, Volkswagen and Mitsubishi. The exhibition offered exclusive promotional packages specifically tailored for Northport employees and their family members.
The open house event served as an excellent platform for Northport's diverse employees to interact in a festive atmosphere outside the usual work environment. As an annual tradition, the Hari Raya Open House provides an important engagement opportunity that brings people together, and celebrating the spirit of Hari Raya as one big community.
