Senai Airport Terminal Services Sdn Bhd (Senai International Airport) hosted its Tenant Engagement Day 2025 on Tuesday, 17 June 2025, at the Senai Business Aviation Terminal. The half-day session brought together over 60 tenants representing various retail, service, and operational partners who play a vital role in the airport’s ecosystem.

The event was officiated by Kennedy Ayu, Chief Executive Officer of Senai International Airport, who took the opportunity to reintroduce Senai International Airport to both new and long-standing tenants. Representing the airport management was also Noor Safura Suib, General Manager of the Commercial Division.

During his address, Kennedy highlighted the airport’s growth journey and expressed appreciation for the unwavering support of tenants who have been part of the airport’s success since its early days. He emphasised the importance of strengthening ties with tenants, both new and existing, as valued business partners. Through mutual support and collaboration, Senai International Airport aims to ensure every passenger’s journey through the airport remains smooth, pleasant, and memorable.

The session also served as a timely opportunity to inform tenants about the upcoming government directive to impose an 8% Sales and Service Tax (SST) on rental, which is expected to impact tenancy agreements across all sectors. Management shared this update to ensure transparency and to prepare tenants for the change ahead.

This engagement session served as a meaningful platform to strengthen communication, gather feedback, and align future goals between airport management and tenants. It also encouraged open dialogue on how to further improve services, facilities, and customer experience.

The programme was coordinated by the Tenant Management Department, led by Amirah Jamian, in collaboration with Business Development, Information Technology Services, and Corporate Communications.

Senai International Airport remains committed to collaborating closely with its tenants to continually improve service quality and enhance the travel experience for all passengers.
