Senai Airport City participated in the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ) Joint Business and Investment Forum, held on 21 and 22 April 2025 at the Persada Johor International Convention Centre, Johor Bahru. The event served as a strategic platform to promote investment opportunities and to enhance bilateral economic cooperation between Malaysia and Singapore. It also highlighted the significant potential of the JS-SEZ in strengthening regional competitiveness and driving growth in key sectors.
More than 900 participants registered for the event, which was attended by top-level policymakers including the YAB Dato’ Onn Hafiz Ghazi, Menteri Besar Johor; His Excellency Gan Kim Yong, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade and Industry, Singapore; and YB Tengku Datuk Seri Utama Zafrul Aziz, Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry who served as the main host of the two days event.
Foreign direct investors (FDIs) in Senai Airport City, including Supermicro and The Hershey Company, participated as panellists in the forum’s discussion on “Unlocking Supply Chain Opportunities for Local Companies” and also actively took part in the business matching session, fostering new avenues for collaboration and growth.

The established presence of these FDIs within Senai Airport City continue to strengthen Senai Airport City’s reputation as a destination of choice for high-value, innovation-driven industries. Their presence reflects the steady progress of Senai Airport City’s long-term industrial vision, positioning it as a key enabler of Johor’s industrial growth and a strategic link in the region’s cross-border economic ecosystem.
