Held at the CBM Hall, Northport C Building, the event brought together approximately 80 participants, including students from Universiti Malaysia Terengganu ("UMT"), WISTA Malaysia members and Northport's female employees.

With the theme "An Ocean of Opportunities for Women", the panel discussion featured esteemed speakers, namely Dr. Izyan Munirah Mohd Zaideen, a Senior Lecturer at UMT, Ms. Jennifer Leong, Secretary General of WISTA Malaysia, Puan Nor Hamizwa Mohd Nor, General Manager of Northport's Human Capital Division and Capt. Shahsirehka Maniarasu, a Marine Pilot at Northport. The panel discussion was moderated by Mdm. Reshma Yousuf, Founding President of WISTA Malaysia.

The forum featured dialogue and knowledge sharing, highlighting women's leadership, resilience, and contributions to a sustainable maritime ecosystem. The program concluded with a tour of Northport, providing participants with an in-depth experience of the port's operations and facilities.

Held in conjunction with the International Day for Women in Maritime 2025, observed on 18 May every year, the event aimed to highlight the pathways for women's leadership, participation and impact in the global maritime sector. This event served as a testament to Northport's dedication to upholding its Environmental, Social and Governance ("ESG") principles, particularly in promoting gender diversity and fostering an inclusive environment.
