Senai Airport Terminal Services Sdn. Bhd. (SATSSB) marked a significant milestone at the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA) 2025 through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), which was held at the Press Conference Room, LIMA 2025 on 20 May 2025.
The MoU formalises a strategic collaboration between SATSSB and UTHM aimed at enhancing knowledge exchange, nurturing highly skilled talent, and bridging the gap between academic learning and industry application, particularly within the aviation sector.
Representing SATSSB at the ceremony was Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Kennedy Ayu, who signed the MoU alongside Ts. Mohd Farhan Mohd Fauzi, Head of Facilities Management Department (FMD), who witnessed the ceremony. The signing demonstrates SATSSB's long-standing commitment to empowering future aviation professionals by supporting educational initiatives and research collaborations.
Over the years, SATSSB has actively engaged with UTHM through a series of industrial visits and knowledge-sharing sessions. These engagements have provided students with first-hand exposure to airport operations, career pathways in aviation, and real-world best practices, equipping them with the insight and readiness to thrive in the industry.
The collaboration is aligned with national aspirations to produce graduates who are competent, innovative, and industry-ready. By formalising this partnership, both SATSSB and UTHM reaffirm their roles in building a dynamic ecosystem that drives aviation excellence and innovation.
