On 28 April 2025, MMC Corporation Berhad hosted the Scholarship Awards Ceremony to honour 19 outstanding engineering students from three of Malaysia's leading universities - Universiti Malaya, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
The ceremony was officiated by Tan Sri Tajuddin Atan, Group Chairman of MMC Corporation Berhad and witnessed by Tan Sri Che Khalib Mohamad Noh, Group Managing Director, together with Chief Executive Officers of the participating operating companies and the scholars' family members.
In his speech, Tan Sri Tajuddin highlighted that the scholarship programme reflects MMC's commitment to nurturing future talent and strengthening the company's long-term sustainability. He emphasised that the scholarship is both a recognition of the students' academic excellence and a responsibility to continue striving for personal and professional growth. He also extended his appreciation to the scholars' families for their unwavering support throughout the students' academic journeys.
Tan Sri Tajuddin concluded his speech by officiating the 2025 MMC Group Education Scholarship Programme, encouraging the recipients to make the most of this opportunity and aim high in their future pursuits.
