On 7 September 2022, Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a member of MMC Group welcomed a delegation from Malaysian Armed Forces Defence College (MPAT) for a familiarisation visit.
With the objective to understand port as a national asset for Malaysia, approximately 80 high ranking military officers led by the Commander of MPAT, First Admiral Badarudin Taha were given an in-depth presentation on port operations by Jaizal Kamar Jalaludin, Head of Human Capital Management of PTP and Nasution Saad Putra Saad, Head of Government Liaison and Free Zone Authority of PTP.
This was followed by an insightful questions and answers session before proceeding to PTP’s Marine Control Tower located at Level 7, Wisma A PTP. The delegation then preceded for a port tour to view PTP terminal, facilities and assets.
The working visit by Maktab Pertahanan Angkatan Pentera, is part of PTP’s stakeholders’ engagement programme throughout 2022 that aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between PTP and Government agencies.
