On 29 September 2022, Penang Port Sdn Bhd (Penang Port), a member of MMC Group, welcomed a working visit by YDH Commander of Police Marine Regional (1), ACP Shamsol Kassim and his delegation to Penang Port’s Headquarters.

Mohamed Shaffi Khatri Abdulla, Head of Corporate Services Division, along with officers from Penang Port were in attendance to welcome the delegation. They were given an in-depth presentation on port operation, which includes security and safety. The objective of this visit is to assist Penang Port in strengthening maritime safety within the port limits.

This working visit is part of Penang Port’s stakeholder engagement programmes, which aimed to strengthen bilateral ties between port operator and Government agencies.
