On 29 September 2022 Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas Sdn Bhd (PTP), a member of MMC Group received a familiarization visit by YB Dato' Haji Mohd Haffiz Bin Haji Ahmad, Mayor Iskandar Puteri City Council’s and delegation.
Welcomed by Marco Neelsen, Chief Executive Officer, Muhammad Abdullah Hatta, Chief Financial Officer and other Senior Management Team. The delegation started their familiarization visit with an in-depth presentation on PTP’s operational performances, the port’s progress and its on-going development and contribution of the port industry towards the nation’s economic sustainability.
The delegation was then brought on a special boat tour to view the on-going development projects such as the IPSUM MAGNA - Berth Zero Project, an additional berth development to accommodate increase in shipment, QC relocation and acquisition project as well as the expansion of Pelepas Free Zone Phase 2C development – Tanjung Adang Project.
The familiarization visit by Iskandar Puteri City Council was an important stakeholder engagement medium for the Management of PTP to share latest updates and development of the Company and strengthen bilateral relations between PTP and Government agencies.
