On 13 September 2022, Port of Tanjung Pelepas (PTP), a member of MMC Group welcomed YB Datuk Seri Ab Rauf Bin Yusoh, Malacca’s State Chairman of the Investment, Industry and Entrepreneurial Development, YB Tuan Ngwe Hee Sem, Malacca State Chairman of Unity, Human Resources and Consumer Affairs and delegation from various Malacca government agencies for an inaugural working visit to PTP.
The delegation was welcomed by Prakash Thurairasasingam, Head of Commercial, Jaizal Kamar Jalaludin, Head of Human Capital Management Division PTP and other PTP Management Team. Afterwards, the delegation was given a comprehensive presentation on PTP’s latest operational performances, the ports progress and its on-going development and contribution of the port industry towards the nation’s economic sustainability. Before ending the visit, the delegation preceded for a port tour to see PTP container terminal and Free zone area.
PTP has been receiving such visits as part of PTP’s stakeholders’ engagement programme throughout 2022 that aims to strengthen bilateral relations between PTP and government agencies while at the same time to share best practises and knowledge of port operations.
